Praamipilet helps travellers find a vehicle space on sold-out ferry crossings. Users select suitable departures, and the app monitors availability on the Virtsu–Kuivastu and Rohuküla–Heltermaa routes in both directions.
The challenge
Popular departures sell out, and released spaces can disappear quickly. Refreshing the booking page takes time and can still mean missing the chance to reserve a ticket.
What we built
We developed a web application that connects departure selection with automated monitoring in the background.
- Availability monitoring for the user's selected departures
- Automatic ticket exchanges when a space opens on a suitable crossing
- New ticket reservations giving users 15 minutes to pay on praamid.ee
- Exchanges using a ticket link or account, with Smart-ID and Mobile-ID sign-in support
- Email notifications so users can complete payment in time
The result
The app is live at praamipilet.ee, handling repeated availability checks for the user. It is an independent tool with no official affiliation to TS Laevad. The service is free, and tickets are paid for directly on praamid.ee.
